Bayfront Dance Festival
The Bayfront Dance Festival happens this Saturday (Aug. 29th) down in the park from 1-7 p.m. and is open to the public. This is another chance to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather (hopefully) and take in some live performances by the Minnesota Ballet and other groups.
Local choreographers, including instructors from the UMD Theatre Department, Over The Top Productions, and the Madill Dance Center, will be displaying some of their own works throughout the day, and the finale performance of "Rough Cut Swing" performed by the Ballet with live accompanyment from the North Shore Big Band is sure to be spectacular.
If you are a fan of dance, either classical or contemporary, this festival will be a great experience. If you are just looking for a way to spend your weekend outdoors and are in the downtown area, this event is sure to be entertaining at the least, and fun and exciting for most everyone.
Come check out the Bayfront Dance Festival this weekend for a day of fun live performances!
