DULUTH, MN – It’s fast becoming a local event: the Pub Quiz at Carmody’s.  
The DuSu.com is stepping in to sweeten the competitive pot for the Sunday, Sept. 13th quiz contest, presenting a round of DuSu-related questions and offering prizes for those who emerge victorious. The drama begins at 8:00 pm. at Carmody’s Irish Pub, 308 East Superior St. 
 
Ambassadors from TheDuSu.com will be on hand at Carmody’s to introduce event-goers to the much-anticipated website launching this month, and to share all the DuSu action taking place during the site’s exciting launch week.

The Venue at Mohaupt Block, Wednesday, Sept. 16

DULUTH, MN – It’s worth well more than a thousand words. Ambassadors for TheDuSu.com will be at The Venue at Mohaupt Block for the Duluth Photographer’s Guild Art Opening at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, at 2024 West Superior St. in Duluth.

Skilled photographic contributors for The DuSu, the area’s premier website for the 18-35 crowd, members of the Guild will be featured in a showcase of striking talent.  
Local station KUMD will be running an interview with Guild president and DuSu team member Aaron Molina from 5-6 pm, and the opening will also feature DJ Starfire.

The Duluth Photographer's Guild (DPG) is a local arts club based in the Duluth-Superior area. Their goal is to provide a community for local photographers that promotes education, support, and furthering of individual skills and experience. The DPG also seeks to promote arts in the community by sponsoring shows to showcase local artists. The DPG encourages photographers of all skill levels and experience to join.

CHALK IT UP TO LOCAL CREATIVITY:  
THEDUSU.COM CHALK ART CONTEST

DULUTH, MN – Show us your DuSu, Duluth-Superior! The DuSu.com, the region’s premier website for people age 18-35 is posing a challenge to readers: get out your chalk and illustrate what “DuSu” means to you. The DuSu chalk art contest will run from Sept.14-17. Winners of the contest will be announced at the DuSu.com launch Party on Sept. 18.

As part of a number of exciting events during launch week for The DuSu.com, the website is asking local young adults to get outside and create chalk art representations depicting their concepts of DuSu, photograph the art, and post it to the DuSu website.

Neighborhood Crawl: Starts Now, Ends Thurs. Sept 17

DULUTH, MN – Shutterbugs, get busy! The DuSu.com wants you to take part in our call for a neighborhood crawl. We want to see your neighborhood, in living color, on our site! Submissions for the Neighborhood Crawl can be posted to the site from now through Thursday, September 17.

As part of ongoing events during launch week for The DuSu.com, the site is asking local young adults to pound the pavement, capturing images of the places they call their neighborhoods.

Participants will be able to sign on to the site with a free user account, upload their images, and post their pictures for the world to see. It will be a glimpse of the Twin Ports through the eyes of those who know it best. DULUTH, MN – The town becomes their canvas, starting with the first event on Tuesday, September 8, as chalk artists for The DuSu.com create short-term masterpieces throughout locations in Duluth and Superior, illustrating their individual concepts of the term “DuSu”.

What is “DuSu”? DuSu is being: being here, being happy, being yourself, being together, being young in your mind and heart, being vibrant, being authentic, being where you want to be doing what you want to do. How do you know if something is DuSu? Ask yourself this question: Does this make me feel good about being here? If it does, then it’s DuSu.

DULUTH, MN – Textbooks, schedules, lectures and notes are all a part of the experience, but college isn’t just about classroom learning. Ambassadors from The DuSu.com will be visiting local campuses this month, educating students and members of the young adult crowd on the much-anticipated website launching just in time for a new semester.   
  
Through the wonders of technology, ambassadors at local campuses will be offering expertly guided tours of The DuSu, sharing all the features and handing out some free items as well.

Opportunities at DuSu Events

DULUTH, MN – As part of ongoing plans for the September launch of TheDuSu.com, website officials are seeking local artists with a penchant for applying their talents to unique tasks.

The DuSu is looking for four artists to create chalk renderings depicting their individual concepts of “DuSu” at local venues across the Twin Ports. DuSu is all about living in the Duluth-Superior area: being here and being happy. Officials are also seeking the talents of a poster artist.

Artists will receive a small stipend for their efforts, as well as the opportunity to be a part of the next big thing in the Northland: TheDuSu.com.

Chalk Artists are needed on the following dates:
