 What is the point of these video blogs?

After being elected to the Duluth City Council I wanted to find a way to communicate to the public about the different things I am working on, but also highlight the many great things in Duluth. At first I was just going to do a written blog, but someone suggested to create a video blog with a video camera, so here is the first installment.

This is me fishing with the last commercial fisherman in the Twin Ports, Mark Howard from Howard's Fish House in Downtown Lincoln Park. Also with is Jackie, one of the few female fisherman left in Lake Superior and Cliff who I dragged along. This was a blast and afterward I went home and ate some great Herring.

To me this is a great example of something you can't do in the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, Rochester or Fargo.

Only in Duluth.
